Lisa Charles has been at the Wetoskey Academy since 1986 and has achieved the rank of Associate Instructor in Jun Fan Gung Fu and Associate Instructor in the Filipino Martial Arts, and is a Black Belt in Absolute Spontaneous Directness, as well as a Blue Sash in Wing Chun Gung Fu from Sifu Keith Wetoskey. Lisa has also received the level of Associate Instructor in Jun Fan Gung Fu and Associate Instructor in the Filipino Martial Arts in the I.I.M.A.I.A. from famous martial arts instructor Guro / Sifu Dan Inosanto.

She is also a Full Instructor in the Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do Grappling Association from Sifu Larry Hartsell. Ms. 
Charles has also received the rank of Masugid in the Lameco Eskrima International Association as well as being a Jagabaya in the Pencak Silat Mande Muda International Association

Lisa Charles also won the Gold Medal in Kali Stick Fighting at the Arnold Battle of Columbus World Martial Arts Championship in 2002 and in 2003. She travels around the country learning all the time as well as teaching at the Wetoskey Academy in Kendallville and at the main school in Waterloo, Indiana.
